Welcome

Dear Colleagues,

Following the succes of the previous annual meetings, on behalf of the Board of the EANS Section of Vascular Neurosurgery we invite you to participate in the Section’s 2018 Annual Meeting, which will again take place in Nice, France, on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th September.

To provide a platform for as many as possible of our members to present their own work, the majority of the program will therefore again be devoted to oral presentations of submitted abstracts and to plenary discussions. Submissions on all aspects of vascular neurosurgery are welcome by 30th April and we very much hope that many of you will take advantage of this opportunity.

Registration for the meeting is now open, please click here to register..

The meeting is being held in conjunction with the annual ESMINT Congress.  A joint EANS/ESMINT session, also featuring a number of prominent speakers from both Europe and the US, will be organized again and we encourage as many as possible of you to support and attend this joint meeting as well.

The EANS Vascular Section Meeting provides an interdisciplinary platform for neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, and others who are interested in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.  Our aim is to offer scientific analysis of the highest quality within a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, and we look forward to welcoming many of you to Nice.

With best wishes

Bart van der Zwan, President, 2018 Annual Section Meeting

Meeting Ethos

We have worked with the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT), to deliberately coincide the meeting with the ESMINT congress, allowing EANS attendees to have the opportunity of being present at both events. The joint day will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions.

We are focused on promoting and consolidating a truly interdisciplinary platform for neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, and others who are interested in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.
